James Kander

Practice Lead – Retail, Enterprise and ITSP Sales at Spectralink Corporation

James Kander has over 30 years of work experience in various roles and industries. James started their career in 1984 as a Major Market Account Executive at Ohio Bell Communications, Inc., where they worked closely with customers to analyze their telecommunication needs and provide them with appropriate products and services.

In 1991, Kander joined Centigram Communications as a Regional Sales Manager, where they traveled to distribution channels to maximize product exposure and developed and managed a distribution network in Northern Ohio. James also generated revenue by creating configurations for call processing applications.

From 1992 to 2007, Kander worked at Spectralink Corporation as a Practice Lead - Retail, Enterprise, and ITSP Sales, and later as a National Account Manager Retail. James directed the enterprise and retail verticals, planned and executed sales and service strategies, and managed relationships with strategic partners and end users.

In 2007, Kander joined Avaya Enterprise Communications Group as a Director of Strategic Accounts, responsible for promoting Greenfield opportunities and managing Fortune 1 and Fortune 100 accounts. James traveled internationally and domestically and developed and managed account teams.

In 2009, Kander worked as the Director - Retail Accounts at Soundbite Communications, where they were responsible for new business development and managing retail accounts.

Overall, Kander has a strong background in sales and business development, with experience in various industries such as telecommunications, voice processing, and wireless mobility solutions.

James Kander obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from John Carroll University, where they studied from 1981 to 1987.
