Ryan contributed to various software development projects, including bond pricing algorithms implementation, software modeling tools development, and designing features for AT&T's Merlin Legend Communications System.

Ryan Wallach has a Bachelor of Arts (BA), Summa Cum Laude degree in Physics, which they obtained from Amherst College in the period from 1985 to 1989. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from New York University, studying from 1990 to 1992.
