Signal Processing Engineer at Spectric Labs

Marc Severo has a long and varied work history, beginning with a role as an Electrical Design Engineer and Electrical Engineering Intern at Avcom of Virginia from 2007. In 2005, they also held a seasonal position as a Wilderness Ranger with the United States Forest Service. From 2003 to 2008, they were a Ski Patroller at Massanutten Resort. In 2015, they began a Graduate Student Intern role at the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory, where they provided support to government laboratory research and performed laboratory Test & Measurement and simulations of radio and millimeter wave radar systems. In 2017, they held concurrent roles as an RF Communications and DSP Engineer at both Axios, Inc. and CACI International Inc. In 2020, they began a role as a Signal Processing Engineer at Spectric Labs.

Marc Severo obtained their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University between 2001 and 2008. Marc then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Virginia, which they completed in 2016. Additionally, they obtained two certifications in 2013: Digital Signal Processing from Coursera taught by \u00c9cole Polytechnique F\u00e9d\u00e9rale de Lausanne and Financial Engineering and Risk Management Part I from Coursera taught by Columbia University.
