Don Commare

Don Commare has extensive experience in various roles within the technology and manufacturing industries. Starting in 1985, Don worked as a Sales, Service, and Applications Engineer at Hamamatsu Photonics K.K. Don then joined Nordson Test & Inspection Sonoscan Products in 1989, where they served as a Marketing Manager, Lab Manager, and Application Engineer. Don's work at Nordson included commercializing a $2M contract testing business and overseeing the staffing and management of multiple labs. In 2000, Don joined Tektronix as a Global Product Manager, successfully managing a $40M P&L and playing a key role in the integration of SonyTek after a joint-venture buyout. Don then moved on to Watlow in 2003, where they served as the Director of Product Marketing and Product Management. At Watlow, Don played a significant role in a $40M P&L turn-around and led several initiatives resulting in cost reduction, improved quality, and increased customer satisfaction. From 2011 to 2017, Don worked at Inovonics as the VP of Marketing and Director of Product Management, where they co-led a $30M P&L turn-around and implemented a continuous improvement culture. Most recently, Don served as the Director of Spectris Business System (SBS) for North America and VP of SBS ISD at Spectris plc, starting in 2018.
