Sheldon Lo-A-Njoe

Sheldon Lo-A-Njoe has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Sheldon started their career as an intern at Monitorlinq, where they designed and created hardware prototypes. Later, they pursued a minor in Intelligent Environments at Hogeschool van Amsterdam and contributed to a research project by designing a hardware prototype called the "Smart Tile" to address scooter/moped-related issues on Amsterdam's bicycle lanes.

Afterwards, Sheldon worked at Altran Intelligent Systems as a consultant/engineer, where they served as a Software Development Tools Specialist for Nasdaq BWise. Sheldon was responsible for setting up, maintaining, and optimizing tools necessary for software development. During their time at Altran, they also completed a graduate internship where they designed a prototype smart thermostat using various technologies.

Following this, Sheldon joined KPN ICT Consulting as a Cloud Native Consultant. Sheldon facilitated the integration of the KPN CaaS/KaaS platform with external applications for the DevOps team responsible for boards and broadcasts at NS (Dutch Railways).

Subsequently, they worked at Rancher Labs as a Field Engineer/Pre-Sales Engineer, responsible for sales in the Nordics and Benelux. Sheldon supported customers with the use of Rancher Labs' free software and provided enterprise-grade support on GA products.

During the acquisition of Rancher Labs by SUSE, Sheldon continued in the same role at SUSE as a Field Engineer. Sheldon supported customers in the Nordics and Benelux, and if necessary, globally.

Currently, Sheldon is working at Spectro Cloud as a Sr. Solution Architect, contributing to architectural solutions in their role.

Sheldon Lo-A-Njoe completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Technische informatica (Technical Informatics) at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences in 2016. In addition to their degree, they obtained the Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification from The Linux Foundation in July 2020 and the Docker Certified Associate certification from Docker, Inc in November 2018.
