James Byers Jr.

James Byers Jr. has a diverse work experience in the field of network operations and service delivery. James started their career at Monmouth Telecom as a Network Operations Center Technician from September 2005 to January 2008. James then joined Spectrotel in January 2008, where they served as a Network Operations Center Technician, troubleshooting and facilitating repairs for various services such as firewalls, VOIP devices, and internet circuits. In April 2013, they transitioned into the role of a Service Delivery Manager at Spectrotel, where they handled order processing for both non-complex and complex services and coordinated SIP testing/turn-up with vendors and agents. Before their civilian career, James served in the United States Army from September 1998 to July 2004.

James Byers Jr. completed their secondary education at Neptune High School from 1991 to 1995. James did not obtain a degree or specialize in any field of study during this time. In addition to their formal education, James obtained several certifications in various technical areas. These certifications include "Windows Server 2016: Remote Access Solutions" from LinkedIn, obtained in August 2020, "Agile Software Development: Remote Teams" from LinkedIn, obtained in July 2020, "Learning VoIP and Unified Communications" from LinkedIn, obtained in July 2020, "Practical Software-Defined Networking: 2 SDN and OpenFlow Foundations" from LinkedIn, obtained in July 2020, "Cisco Express Networking" from Cisco Meraki, obtained in April 2018, and "NSE 3 Security Network Associate," "NSE 2 Security Network Associate," and "NSE 1 Security Network Associate" from Fortinet, all obtained in June 2017.
