Mike Izatt began their work experience in 1998 at General Communications, Inc as an Estimator. Mike then joined Spectrum Engineers in 1999 as a Technology Designer, where they evaluated existing facilities and systems for upgraded technology and performed construction administration.

In 2006, Mike joined AV Innovations Inc. as a Design Engineer, where they conducted site surveys, produced installation drawings, and provided technical training to clients. Mike then moved to Electronic Interiors, Inc. in 2007 as a Senior Consultant, where they provided design services for the US Federal Courts.

In 2012, Mike joined CTA Architects Engineers as an A/V Designer, where they provided low voltage design services for Federal Court and commercial projects. Mike then returned to Spectrum Engineers in 2013 as a Project Technologist, before being promoted to Associate Principal Technology Consultant in 2019.

Throughout their career, Mike has demonstrated expertise in evaluating client technical needs, conducting site surveys, coordinating with consultants and clients, and providing in-depth technical training.

Mike Izatt, CQT, CTS-D, obtained their BSEET degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from Weber State University from 2002 to 2006. Prior to that, they attended the University of Utah from 1999 to 2002, studying Electrical Engineering. In addition to their educational background, Mike has also obtained several certifications. These include the Extron Certified XTP Systems Engineer (XTP-E) certification from Extron Electronics in September 2012, the DigitalMedia Certified Designer (DMC-D-4K) certification from Crestron Electronics in December 2010, and the Certified Technology Specialist - Design certification from InfoComm International in October 2010. Mike also holds the Certified Quality Technician-AV (CQT) certification from The Association for Quality in Audio Visual Technology, Inc. (AQAV) obtained in June 2014, and the Certified Technology Specialist-Design (CTS-D) certification from InfoComm International obtained in October 2010.
