Lauren Lebental

Lauren LeBental serves as the Managing Director of Strategy & Content and Advisor at SPED Strategies since November 2021. Previously, Lauren held multiple roles at Relay Graduate School of Education from 2014 to July 2023, including Assistant Dean of Special Education, Assistant Professor of Practice, Director of Special Education, and Instructional Fellow. Experience also includes the role of Director of Professional Learning at Zearn from February 2022 to January 2023 and Educational Consultant at Partnership for Inclusive Schools from 2018 to 2020. Additionally, Lauren worked as a Strategy and Development Consultant and Program Design Consultant at the NYC Department of Education and as Manager of Teacher Leadership Development at Teach For America from 2011 to 2013. Early career experience includes a position as a Special Education Teacher at the NYC Department of Education from 2009 to 2011. Lauren holds a Master's degree in Special Education and Teaching from Hunter College and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
