Chronis Dimitropoulos

Chronis Dimitropoulos has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and web development. Chronis is currently working at Speedcast as a Software Engineering Team Lead, where they have been since March 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Speedcast from June 2022 to July 2023. Before joining Speedcast, they worked as a Software Engineer at the company from December 2017 to May 2022.

Earlier in their career, Chronis worked as a Researcher - Software Engineer at Hellenic Army for a brief period from April 2017 to December 2017. Chronis also served as a Research Associate - Web Application Developer at Harokopio University of Athens from September 2014 to May 2016. Their responsibilities there included designing, creating, and maintaining a mobile application for asylum seekers in Greece.

Chronis has also gained experience in web development through their roles as a Web Developer - Technical Support at Aglaea Kretsi & Partners Law Firm from August 2013 to January 2014, and as a Web Developer at Express Publishing from November 2012 to July 2013.

Chronis Dimitropoulos completed their education at Harokopio University of Athens. From 2008 to 2013, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Informatics and Telematics. Chronis then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computational and Internet Technologies and Applications - Web Engineering from 2013 to 2015. Additionally, they obtained a certification as an Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in February 2022.
