Matthias Schiesser

Matthias Schiesser is an experienced FPGA Development Engineer currently employed at Speedgoat since February 2018, where responsibilities also include Simulink FPGA Application Support. Prior to this role, Matthias served as a Research Associate in power electronics at HEIG-VD from February 2017 to January 2018 and contributed to electronics development as an Assistant at Soudronic AG for a brief period in early 2015. Matthias has extensive experience in electronics roles from mpl.ch, beginning as an Electronics Technician in 2011 and extending through multiple internships until 2013. The foundational career phase included an apprenticeship as an Electronics Technician at Soudronic AG from 2005 to 2009. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Engineering with a focus on Industrial Technologies from HES-SO Haute école spécialisée de Suisse occidentale, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW. Additionally, studies were completed at ENSEEIHT in Génie Electrique et Automatique.
