Chris Rentner

Chris Rentner serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Spence Labs, a FinTech company specializing in comprehensive payment solutions. With a strong background in digital technology and innovation, Chris previously led initiatives at Burling Bank to develop a Banking as a Service (BaaS) platform, while also providing strategic insights as a board member at SomerCor and as a consultant for FIS. Notably, Chris founded Akouba, which became an industry leader before its acquisition by Velocity Solutions. Additionally, Chris has experience in logistics through Chicago Marine Asset Management and holds a commission as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy Reserve. Chris earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Logistics and Intermodal Transportation from the United States Merchant Marine Academy.
