Juan Gomez Muñoz began their career in 2011 as a student at KATHO, where they developed a front-end application using the FLEX framework for smartphones. Juan then interned as a software developer at KATHO, managing small projects for clients. In 2013, they joined HP España as a junior software developer, working on an augmented reality content editor.

In 2013, Juan joined Mofables as a software developer, specializing in exploring new technology possibilities such as augmented reality, iBeacons, and hybrid board games and apps. Juan then co-founded Rombo Games in 2015, where they developed smart and modern games as a software developer and co-founder.

Juan's professional journey continued at Sperasoft, where they held various roles. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a software developer, contributing to projects such as WWE Immortals and Injustice: Gods Among Us. Juan then advanced to the position of senior software developer, working on Mortal Kombat X and participating in weekly client meetings.

In 2020, Juan was promoted to lead software developer, leading a team of multidisciplinary engineers for the project Mortal Kombat Mobile. Juan coordinated live content updates, managed feature allocation, and programmed in Unreal Engine 4. In 2022, they took on the role of associate technical director at Sperasoft, where they participated in pre-sales activities, assisted in team creation, and supervised multiple ongoing projects.

Throughout their career, Juan has demonstrated expertise in C++ programming, proprietary and Unreal Engine development, project coordination, and team leadership.

Juan Gomez Muñoz completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (Ingeniero Técnico en Informática de Sistemas) at the Universidad de Valladolid from 2008 to 2012. In 2011, they also took a language course in Advanced English at Kaplan College-San Diego. Juan then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science (Grado en Ingeniería Informática) at the Universidad de Valladolid from 2012 to 2013. Additionally, in 2011, they completed a final project and internship at Katholieke Hogeschool Zuid-West-Vlaanderen, focusing on Ingeniería informática.
