Carrie Underwood

Carrie Underwood has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Carrie most recently worked as a Consultant at the Sperling Center for Research and Innovation (SCRI) starting in January 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Research and Evaluation Manager at SCRI from March 2020 to February 2023. Before joining SCRI, Carrie worked as a Research and Evaluation Manager at BellXcel from April 2019 to February 2023. Carrie also served as a Research Specialist at the Rock Hill School District from November 2017 to April 2019 and as an Education Research and Evaluation Specialist at the Georgia Department of Education from April 2014 to November 2017.

Carrie's earlier work experience includes roles such as a Research Associate at Editorial Projects in Education, where they collected and analyzed data for policy reports published by Education Week, produced charts and graphs, and contributed to publications. Carrie also worked as a Writer at First Advantage from March 2008 to May 2011 and as a Grants Intern at the New York Council for the Humanities from October 2008 to August 2009.

Carrie started their career in education as a Latin Instructor at The Walker School, where they developed curriculum and maintained effective communication with parents. Carrie also gained teaching experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The University of Georgia from August 2005 to May 2007. Additionally, they worked as a Publicity Intern at The University of Georgia Press in the summer of 2004.

Carrie Underwood received their education in a chronological sequence. Carrie attended The University of Georgia from 2000 to 2004, where they completed their undergraduate studies and obtained an AB degree in Latin. Carrie then pursued further education at the same institution from 2005 to 2007, earning a master's degree (MA) in Classical Languages. Following this, from 2010 to 2012, Underwood attended The George Washington University, where they received a master's degree (MA) specifically in Education Policy.
