Jared Scheck

Jared Scheck has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Jared began their career as a Research Assistant at Boston Children's Hospital in 2012, where they worked in the Stress and Development Lab. Jared then went on to work as a Research Assistant at the BEE lab in Boston University from 2012 to 2013. Following this, Jared worked as a Tutor in a private capacity from 2013 to 2014. Jared then transitioned to Lawrence Elementary School as a Paraprofessional in 2014. From 2015 to 2017, they served as a Program Coordinator at Scholar Athletes, and before that, they were a Program Assistant at the same organization for a brief period. In 2019, Jared joined the Center for Public Research and Leadership as a Consultant for a few months. Jared also worked as a Program and Data Associate at Bank Street College of Education from 2019 to 2021. Currently, Jared is working at the Sperling Center for Research and Innovation (SCRI) as an Education Consultant, a position they have held since July 2022. Before this, they worked as a Project Associate at SCRI from September 2021 to June 2022.

Jared Scheck completed their education with a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Politics and Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, from 2017 to 2019. Prior to their master's degree, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) with Honors in Psychology from Boston University, attending from 2011 to 2013. Before that, they pursued Psychology at Denison University from 2009 to 2011, although they did not obtain a specific degree from this institution.
