Soren Goyal

Soren Goyal has a diverse work experience starting in 2017 at Expedia, Inc. where they worked as a Software Developer. Their responsibilities included maintaining a web portal for a major partner program, test automation, and developer support. They used technologies such as JS, Java, C#, Scala, and AWS.

In 2018, Soren joined Amazon as a Software Development Engineer. They initially worked on the software stack responsible for handling Alexa dialogs, where they focused on bug fixes, adding new features, and performing DevOps tasks. Later on, they joined AWS Geospatial, where they developed a roadmap for automating the region launches of Amazon Location Service. They also designed and developed a data pipeline for moving metrics to an internal database for analysis.

Most recently, Soren joined Spexi Geospatial Inc. in 2023 as a Software Engineer.

Soren Goyal completed their Master's Degree in Computer Science from The Ohio State University from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they pursued their Master of Science (MS) in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, from 2010 to 2015.
