Anthony Serio

Anthony Serio is an experienced professional in the payments and banking sectors, currently serving as a member of the U.S. Faster Payments Council and holding roles as Founder & CEO of Serio Payments Consulting and Special Advisor to the CEO at Sphere Labs. As the Chief Risk Officer at Sphere Labs, Anthony oversees risk management strategies, while previously mentoring as the Interim Chief Payments Officer at ARB Interactive. With a robust background in operations, Anthony has led payment operations at Sila and directed banking operations during tenure at Silicon Valley Bank, specializing in foreign exchange and compliance processes. Anthony's career also includes leadership roles at East West Bank and experience in the U.S. Navy, complemented by a BA in History and East Asian Studies from Brandeis University.
