Michael Barringer

Michael Barringer is an experienced video producer and cinematographer currently working at Sphere Entertainment Co. since February 2023. In addition to this role, Michael has served as a Narrative Feature Programmer and Short Narrative Programmer at the Brooklyn Film Festival since October 2021. Notable past projects include work as a cinematographer and editor for Jeffrey Gibson's video installation "THIS BURNING WORLD" at the Institute of Contemporary Art San Francisco. Michael has contributed as a video editor for various companies, including Red Antler and Decoded Advertising, and held the position of Director of Photography for a National Lampoon production. Academic contributions include teaching screenwriting at Esra Film School of New York. Michael holds an MFA in Film Directing from The City University of New York and completed undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan.
