Andres Melgar

Andres Melgar has held a variety of roles in the past decade. In 2012, they began their career as a Human Resources Intern at Audible, Inc. In 2014, they moved to William Penn Elementary as an America Reads Tutor. In 2015, they became the Philanthropy/ Community Service Chair at Delta Tau Delta International Fraternity. In 2018, they joined Enel X as an Office Manager. In 2019, they worked at Exponea (Acquired by Bloomreach) as a Human Resources Generalist+Office Manager. In 2020, they joined St. Barnabas Health System, Inc. as a Mental Health Associate/Technician. In 2022, they moved to IBISWorld as an Office Experience Manager, where they maintained and managed relationships with various 3rd party vendors, supported and guided both internal employees and external candidates with travel and accommodation bookings, and partnered closely with the People Operations Manager with the development and maintenance of HR policies and processes. Currently, they are the Office Manager at SPHERE Technology Solutions.

Andres Melgar received their high school education from North Star Academy Charter School of Newark from 2010 to 2014. Andres then went on to receive their Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Spanish from Moravian University from 2014 to 2018. Andres has also obtained certifications from Udemy, including Lean Office for Management Consultants in August 2022 and HR fundamentals for a Career in Human Resources in July 2022. Additionally, they have obtained a Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) certification from the Jersey City Medical Center.
