Andrew Weishaar

Andrew Weishaar has a diverse work experience in various roles related to coaching and retail management. Andrew began their career as a Graduate Assistant for Cross Country/Track & Field at California University of Pennsylvania in 2000. Andrew then served as a Head Coach for Cross Country/Track & Field at Alfred University from 2001 to 2004. Andrew briefly worked as an Assistant Coach for Cross Country/Track & Field at Northern Arizona University and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2004 and 2005, respectively. From 2006 to 2014, they were an Assistant Coach for Cross Country/Track at Ithaca High School and Ithaca College. Andrew also worked as a Retail Manager/Chief Buyer at Finger Lakes Running & Triathlon Company from 2006 to 2013. In 2015, they became the Head Coach for Cross Country at Ithaca City School District and the Assistant to the Director of Operations at Spider Holster, where they were involved in various aspects of the business. Andrew has demonstrated success in coaching, including being nominated for ESPN Coach of the Year.

Andrew Weishaar completed their Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science/Biochemistry at Ithaca College from 1994 to 1999. Andrew later pursued a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership at Northern Arizona University from 2004 to 2006. Apart from their formal education, they obtained certifications such as the Level I Coach from USATF in July 1996, the Level II Coach from USATF in July 2007, and CPR/First Aid from the American Red Cross.
