Eric Sorenson

Eric Sorenson is an experienced cable camera pilot and technician with a strong background in rigging and installation for television events. Currently freelancing since July 2014, Eric specializes in the Spidercam system, overseeing site surveys and ensuring safe operations for live and recorded productions. Previous roles include part-time rigger and AV technician at PSAV, as well as wind technician positions at Vestas and GE Power, where responsibilities involved installation and troubleshooting of wind turbines. Eric began the career in rigging and maintenance at Skycam, LLC. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
