Wes Powell

Wes Powell is an experienced engineering and production professional with a diverse background in cinematic technology. Currently serving as Engineer In Charge (EIC), Tech, and Operator at Spidercam GmbH since February 2022, Wes previously held multiple roles at Intel Corporation from March 2016 to March 2022, including Coordinating Producer, Technical Training Manager, and Team Lead. Prior to that, Wes worked at Replay Technologies as a Camera Operator (Pilot) and Video Engineer, and at SKYCAM LLC as a Camera Technician. Early experience includes a Senior Editor and Camera Operator role with DOLLY PARTON TOURING INC from July 2009 to June 2012. Wes Powell earned a Bachelor's degree in Cinematography and Film/Video Production from The Art Institutes between 2004 and 2006 and attended Kennesaw State University from 2001 to 2004.
