Gautam Shah

Gautam Shah has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Gautam is currently employed as a Senior Software Development Engineer at SpiderRock since May 2022. Prior to this, from 2015 to 2022, they worked at AVEVA, where they held multiple positions including Senior Software Engineer and Scrum Master/Senior Software Engineer. In these roles, they were involved in WPF application development, WIX development, C++/C# development for backend services, and served as a scrum master.

Before joining AVEVA, Gautam worked at InStep Software, LLC from 2012 to 2015, where they were a Sr. Project Engineer and Software Developer. Gautam was responsible for deploying projects in customer environments, writing custom applications, and performing FAT/SAT at various customer sites. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Developer at Gelber Group from 2009 to 2012 and as an Associate Engineer at Trading Technologies from 2008 to 2009.

Gautam's earlier work experience includes an internship as an Intern at Grainger, where they served as a SharePoint site administrator in 2007. Before that, they worked at IT, Clearing Corp. of India LTD as a Sr. Executive Officer from 2005 to 2006. In this role, they determined programming languages and architecture, implemented new financial software for various banks, automated reporting processes, and provided technical support. Gautam also had extensive programming experience with VB.net, VB, C++, PL/SQL, Java, MQ-series, and Crystal Reports.

Gautam Shah has a strong educational background in computer science. Gautam obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the University of Mumbai in the years 2000 to 2004. Gautam then pursued further studies and completed a Post Graduate Diploma and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Software Development from CDAC in 2004 and 2005, respectively. Gautam went on to earn a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from DePaul University between 2006 and 2008. In addition to their academic qualifications, Gautam has also obtained professional certifications. Gautam achieved the Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org in November 2016 and the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2023.
