Bsme. Hilal Ismail - Mses (he/him/his)

Hilal Ismail has a strong background in engineering and manufacturing, with experience in various leadership roles. Hilal is currently the Director at Spiers New Technologies Inc (SNT), starting in April 2022. Prior to that, they worked at General Motors from 2020 to 2022, first as the Battery Pre Production Operations Manager and then as the Manufacturing Engineering Execution Manager. From 2016 to 2020, Hilal worked at SAIC General Motors, where they served as the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and later as the Quality Launch Manager. Before that, they held positions at General Motors from 2011 to 2016, including Global Program Quality Manager Electrification and Quality Lead. Hilal also had experience as the General Manager at Fortune Aluminum and Glass from 2009 to 2010. Hilal started their career at General Motors in 1995, where they held roles such as Senior Quality Engineer and General Supervisor of Manufacturing/Maintenance. Hilal has demonstrated expertise in managing teams, improving quality systems, and overseeing manufacturing operations.

Hilal Ismail (he/him/his) obtained a Baccalaureate in Mathematics from Amilieh High School in Beirut, Lebanon, from 1983 to 1986. Hilal then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) at Saginaw Valley State University from 1993 to 1996. Later, Hilal Ismail attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 2000 to 2002, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Engineering Science. Additionally, they received a certification in ASQ CMQ/OE from ASQ in October 2015.
