Sameer Singh

Sameer Singh is a distinguished computer science professional with extensive experience in academia and industry. Currently serving as Co-Founder and CTO of Spiffy AI since November 2023, Sameer has held various faculty positions at UC Irvine since June 2016, progressing through the ranks from Assistant Professor to Full Professor. Prior to Spiffy AI, Sameer was an Allen AI Fellow at the Allen Institute for AI from October 2021 to March 2023. Sameer’s early career includes a postdoctoral position at the University of Washington and research roles at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where a PhD in Computer Science was earned. Sameer also gained valuable industry experience through internships at major technology firms such as Microsoft, Google, and Yahoo!, and has a robust educational background with degrees from Vanderbilt University and Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology.
