Povilas Gudzius

Povilas Gudzius has a diverse work experience in the field of data technology and artificial intelligence. Povilas is currently the co-founder and CEO of Spike Technologies, an AI startup focused on B2B data technology. Prior to that, Povilas worked as a Research Scientist at VU Matematikos ir Informatikos fakultetas, specializing in machine learning and computer vision research. Before that, they held several roles at Bloomberg LP, including Quant Data & AI/ML technology sales specialist, Head of Financial Technology Sales in the United Arab Emirates, FinTech Sales Country Manager in Saudi Arabia, Financial Technology Sales Associate in South Africa, and Financial Analyst specializing in derivatives in London and European markets.

Povilas Gudzius began their education in 2006 at Lancaster University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Marketing and Finance. Povilas completed this program in 2009. Following this, from 2009 to 2011, Povilas pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Marketing of Financial Services at Lancaster University.

In 2014, Povilas enrolled in the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Program at the CFA Institute, specializing in Finance and Quantitative Analysis. Povilas completed this program in 2015.

Continuing their academic journey, Povilas attended NYC Data Science Academy in 2018 and 2019, where they focused on Machine Learning with Python.

Currently, Povilas is pursuing a PhD in Computer Science at Vilnius University, which they began in 2017 and is expected to complete in 2023.
