Maria Boghiu

Maria Boghiu is the current Head of Product at Spill. Maria has previous experience working as a Product Manager at Monzo Bank from November 2017 to May 2018, where they shipped Monzo's first money-making product (overdrafts) with a team of 8 engineers, 1 data scientist, 1 designer, and 1 credit expert. Boghiu also worked as a Software Engineer at FlexTrade from February 2012 to June 2013, where they shipped a high-throughput modular plugin for the Order Management & Execution Server, which added metadata (e.d. STDEV) to stock market feeds. In their role at Microsoft from September 2013 to July 2016, Boghiu owned performance & reliability for Windows Maps Platform: fixed several high-profile bugs by debugging rendering, storage, XAML, shell, networking and other such support-level OS components.

Maria Boghiu has a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Oxford, a Bachelor of Science in Information Management from UCL, and a Master of Arts in Counselling and Psychotherapy (Existential Pathway) from Regent's University London.
