Daniel Varela

Daniel Varela is a skilled 2D Animator with extensive experience in the animation industry, currently working at SpindleHorse Toons since April 2021 on the series Helluva Boss. Previous roles include 2D Animator positions at Princess Bento Studio for Hazbin Hotel, Brown Bag Films for Lu and the Bally Bunch, and mighty studio for HIT-MONKEY. Daniel began a career in animation at Scum House, contributing as a 2D Animator on Satina. In addition, Daniel served as Pre Production Lead at AAU StudioX, overseeing a team to develop a pitch for an animated TV show. Daniel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Animation from the Academy of Art University and an Associate of Arts in Arts in Media from Southwestern College.
