Santeri Heinonen

Santeri Heinonen serves as the Chief Operating Officer at SPINNOVA® since May 2023, focusing on internal operations to drive company growth. Previously, Santeri held the position of Chief Human Resources Officer, managing corporate people and HR strategy. From January 2014 to May 2023, Santeri was Senior Manager of Global Talent Development at Valmet, responsible for enhancing global competencies and managing HR processes related to talent retention. At Metso, from 2005 to 2013, Santeri progressed through several roles, including Senior Specialist in Learning and Development, Manager of Compensation & Benefits, and HR Process Development Manager, contributing to various HR initiatives across the organization. Santeri began the career at Valmet and Metso in various capacities from June 1998 to December 2004. Santeri holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Jyväskylä, completed in 2002.
