Cyril Sender

Cyril Sender has extensive work experience in the medical devices industry. Cyril started their career in 2004 at Teknimed, where they worked as an R&D Engineer, responsible for project management, designing and bringing medical devices to the market, developing new biomaterials, and defining manufacturing processes. Cyril later advanced to the position of R&D Manager, overseeing the department until August 2017.

In 2017, Cyril joined SoundBite Medical Solutions Inc. as a Regulatory Compliance Manager, ensuring adherence to regulations. Cyril also served as a Quality Design Specialist, ensuring quality standards were met, but only until 2018.

Currently, Cyril works at Spinologics Inc. as a Senior R&D Director, specifically focusing on medical devices. The specific duration of this role is not provided.

Cyril Sender has a diverse education history with various degrees and certifications. Cyril obtained their Bachelor's degree, a Diplôme Universitaire de Technologie (DUT), in Mesures Physiques - Matériaux et Contrôles Physico-Chimiques from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III from 1999 to 2001. Following this, from 2001 to 2004, they pursued their Diplôme d'ingénieur in Matériaux et Procédés from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Ingénieurs en Arts Chimiques et Technologiques.

Cyril then went on to pursue a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Génie des Matériaux from Toulouse INP from 2003 to 2004. Subsequently, they continued their studies at Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III, where they completed their Doctorat - PhD in polymers, biomedical from 2004 to 2008.

To enhance their business skills, Cyril pursued a Certificat de Compétences en Management Opérationnel from Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers from 2010 to 2015. This certification covered various areas such as gestion d'entreprise, marketing, gestion des hommes, commerce international, and controle de gestion.

Additionally, Cyril obtained the certification of McGill Finance Essentials from McGill University - Desautels Faculty of Management in March 2023.
