Erica Shearn

Erica Shearn has a diverse work experience spanning over different roles and companies. Erica started their career at Ernst & Young in 2007 as a Senior Auditor and worked there until 2011. Following that, they joined McMaster-Carr, where they held roles as Corporate Finance and later became an Implementation Manager for Business Systems. In 2015, Erica joined CareerBuilder as a Senior Manager of Accounting and Reporting, and later became the Director of Accounting and Financial Reporting. Erica ended their time at CareerBuilder as the Controller in 2019. Currently, Erica is working at SPINS as the Vice President of Accounting/Controller and is now a Senior Vice President in the same role.

Erica Shearn has a strong educational background in business and accounting. Erica obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they pursued a Masters degree in the Science of Accountancy at Michigan State University - Eli Broad College of Business from 2006 to 2007. Erica also holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Michigan State University, which they completed from 2002 to 2006.

In addition to their formal education, Erica obtained a certification as a Certified Public Accountant in April 2009.
