Rawad A. is a highly experienced engineer with a strong background in mechanical design and project leadership. Rawad started their career as an Engineering Intern at The Dow Chemical Company, where they focused on engineering plastics and conducted product durability and reliability testing. Rawad then interned at General Motors, where they worked on assembly line improvements and contributed to quality improvement efforts.

After their internships, Rawad joined Delphi as an Engineering Intern, where they worked with the Automotive Exhaust Sensor Group and analyzed, tested, and reported on exhaust sensors. Rawad also developed product testing procedures and reports.

Rawad then transitioned to Kubota Tractor Corporation as a Product Engineer, where they managed multiple engineering projects and collaborated with interdisciplinary teams to design, test, and launch OEM Excavators, Track & Wheel Loaders. Rawad also participated in new vehicle design reviews.

Following their time at Kubota, Rawad joined Zodiac Aerospace as a Lead Design Engineer, where they created innovative designs for aircraft interior products using CATIA V5 3D modeling software. Rawad also conducted physical crash testing to overcome design challenges in composite structures.

Rawad then worked at Shultz Steel Co as a Sr Design Engineer, where they designed complex structural aerospace and military part forgings and created progressive tool and die designs. Rawad utilized Finite Element Method (FEM) Deform Simulation software for die stress analysis and optimization.

Currently, Rawad is employed at Spintech Holdings, Inc. as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer & Project Lead. In this role, they are responsible for creating design strategy, performing primary design, managing sub-designers, and delivering total design execution for custom tooling solutions in the manufacturing of composite Aerospace structures. Rawad utilizes CATIA V5 for tooling design and surfacing and performs advanced mechanical engineering calculations.
