Santiago Gómez Santamaría

Santiago Gómez Santamaría is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in training, development, and sales within the engineering sector. Currently serving as an Academy Partner for Southern Europe at Spirax-Sarco Engineering plc since August 2016, Santiago's responsibilities include supporting and deploying the Academy to foster growth in the region. As the Training and Development Manager for Iberia at Spirax Sarco España since June 2013, Santiago focuses on sales, technical teams, and services, providing training in proactive account management and energy efficiency. With a strong academic background, including a degree in Mining Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and multiple advanced degrees from EAE Business School, Santiago also contributes to academia as a collaborator in various master's programs related to energy management and efficiency at institutions such as the University of Vigo and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Prior roles include various managerial and support positions within Spirax Sarco España and ARIES Ingeniería y Sistemas.
