Kari Welp

Kari Welp has extensive work experience in the hospitality industry. From 2019 onwards, they have served as the Director of Sales & Marketing at Renaissance Minneapolis Bloomington under Spire Hospitality. Before that, they worked for CSM Corporation starting in 1999. At CSM Corporation, they held various roles such as Director of Sales at Courtyard and Residence Inn by Marriott Bloomington by Mall of America, Director of Sales at Courtyard by Marriott Minneapolis/Bloomington, and Director of Sales at Residence Inn by Marriott Minneapolis/Bloomington. Kari also worked as a Sales Manager and front desk staff at different Marriott properties. In their roles, they focused on driving sales growth, training and mentoring staff, and developing business plans.

Kari Welp completed their education at the University of Northwestern—St. Paul from 2000 to 2004, earning a degree in International Business. Additionally, they obtained a CVENT Supplier Network Certification in August 2020.
