Jim Klaassen

Jim Klaassen has held various leadership positions in global operations and supply chain management throughout their career. Jim began their career at Alcatel-Lucent in 1998, managing high volume final assembly, wire, and test operations. Jim later served as the Operations Program Management and Supply Chain Engineering Director, where they led global operations program management and implemented cost reduction strategies. Klaassen joined Spirent Communications in 2007 as the Senior Director of Global Operations, overseeing internal and contract manufacturing, supply chain engineering, and engineering services. Jim was later promoted to Senior Vice President, assuming responsibility for all global operations, including sourcing, supplier relations, quality, and facilities. Throughout their career, Klaassen has successfully implemented cost efficiencies and profitability measures and demonstrated strong leadership in managing large teams and complex supply chains.

Jim Klaassen has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kansas State University, a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Physics from Bethel College-North Newton, and a Mini-MBA in General Management from the AT&T School of Business.
