Kristy Westphal

Kristy Westphal is an accomplished professional in the field of information security with extensive experience across various roles and organizations. Currently serving as the Global Security Director at Spirent Communications and a Lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley, Kristy has a strong focus on Security Operations. Previous positions include Vice President of Security Operations at HealthEquity, where oversight included a 16-person team and the organization of a cyber conference, as well as roles at Union Bank and Charles Schwab, where Kristy managed teams supporting cybersecurity and incident response. With an academic background that includes teaching positions at Arizona State University and the University of Advancing Technology, Kristy's educational credentials consist of two Master’s degrees from Arizona State University and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Arizona, Eller College of Management.
