James Buzzard has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. James started in 1993 as the CTO/General Manager at BBN/Domain Pharma, where they were responsible for operational management, product direction, and strategy. After that, they worked at Oracle as the Senior Director of Business Development for Interactive Media/Video on Demand, where they handled technical architecture and sales processes for Oracle's media server and media objects. In 1997, they joined Pharsight Corporation as the VP of Product Management and Services, overseeing product marketing, deployment services, and technical support. James then moved to IBM in 2003, where they held various roles, including Senior Marketing Manager for Healthcare/Life Sciences and Worldwide Customer Segment Lead for Life Sciences/Pharma Industries. In 2009, they became the VP of Product Management and Marketing at Pano Logic, responsible for product composition, launch planning, and marketing collateral. From 2012 to 2019, James worked as a Product Management/Marketing Consultant, assisting various B2B enterprise and cybersecurity software companies. James currently serves as the Vice President of Product Management at Spirion, focusing on sensitive data discovery and privacy risk management.

James Buzzard received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology and Psychobiology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, where they studied from 1976 to 1980.
