Gideon Sia

Gideon Sia is an accomplished aerospace engineer with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as the MRB Chief Engineer at Spirit AeroSystems since November 2008, Gideon oversees the Material Review Board operations for key projects, including Airbus A320 and A350 as well as Boeing B787 and B737 sub-assemblies. Prior to this role, Gideon worked as a Senior Stress Engineer and Stress Engineer at Composite Technology Research Malaysia from May 2005 to November 2008, focusing on the A400M project. Earlier experience includes a position as a Design Engineer at APM Shock Absorber and as a Stress Engineer at CTRM, where contributions were made to the A380 project. Educated at Universiti Putra Malaysia with a degree in Aerospace Engineering and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia with a diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Gideon has developed a strong foundation in aerospace systems and mechanical engineering.
