Beckie Scott

Beckie Scott, O.C., M.S.M. is the Founder and CEO of Spirit North, an organization dedicated to empowering Indigenous youth through sport and play since 2017. With a focus on leadership development, health, and wellness, Spirit North aims to unlock the potential of youth. Beckie has also served as a Broadcast Analyst for CBC, covering cross-country skiing events since 2010, and is an accomplished motivational speaker addressing values-based leadership and overcoming adversity. Beckie's leadership experience includes roles as Chair of the World Anti-Doping Agency Athlete Committee from 2013 to 2019 and as a member of the International Olympic Committee from 2006 to 2014. Beckie holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Waterloo.
