Michiel Starmans

Michiel Starmans currently serves as the Director of the Legal Department at Spliethoff Group since May 2002 and has been a member of the BIMCO Documentary Committee since May 2019. Additionally, Michiel held the position of Chairman of The Association of Average Adjusters from May 2020 to May 2022. Michiel Starmans achieved a Fellow degree in Marine Insurance from The Association of Average Adjusters and completed studies at Erasmus University Rotterdam from 1983 to 1989.
