Ahmed SAAD

Ahmed SAAD has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and data science. Ahmed is currently working as a Software Engineer at Splio since December 2021. Prior to this, they had two roles as a Software Engineer at Splio starting in December 2021.

Before joining Splio, Ahmed worked at kopiLeft Services as a Software Engineer from October 2020 to November 2021. In this role, they were responsible for analyzing user needs, writing specifications, developing and integrating new functionalities into the SRD5 software, and participating in all phases of the software lifecycle.

Ahmed also gained experience as a Software Engineer Intern at FINAXYS from March 2020 to August 2020. In this position, Ahmed was involved in setting up a platform for analyzing and processing invoices of different formats. Ahmed developed a model for detecting sections in image-based invoices using Faster RCNN object detection algorithm and deployed it in a Hexagonal architecture.

In addition, Ahmed worked as a Data Science Intern at Business & Decision Tunisie in July 2019 to August 2019, where they developed and integrated a recommendation system for the Afrikyes mobile application based on Facebook data and text classification.

Furthermore, Ahmed served as a Senior Member at Sup'Com Junior Entreprise - SJE and as the Vice President at Team SUP'COM from 2018 to 2019, gaining leadership and organizational skills.

Ahmed also completed a stage en ingénierie at IMBUS Tunisia in July 2018 to August 2018, where they implemented a human resource management system by developing an extension to the Orange HRM application using Symfony3.4, PHP5, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 technologies.

Overall, Ahmed has a strong background in software engineering, data science, and leadership, with experience in developing and integrating software functionalities, implementing machine learning models, and participating in various stages of the software development process.

Ahmed SAAD completed their education from 2015 to 2017 at the Preparatory Institute for Engineering Studies - El-Manar (IPEIEM). From 2017 to 2020, Ahmed attended SUP'COM and obtained a Diplôme national d'ingénieur en Télécommunications in the field of Technologies de l'information.
