Philippe Brunet

Philippe Brunet has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles.

Philippe currently holds the position of Senior Software Engineer - Event Data Pipeline at Splio since July 2021.

Before joining Splio, Philippe worked at Société Générale from August 2018 to October 2021. Philippe initially served as a Big Data Engineer and later took on the role of Chapter Lead Big Data.

In 2017, Philippe underwent training on Big Data and Cloud Services, and also worked at Michelin Food & Travel (Michelin Travel Partner) as a PL/SQL Developer for the CRM Database. Philippe briefly served as a Technical Project Manager for Customer Identity & Access Management at the same company.

In 2016, they worked as a Consultant Blockchain at MICROINGENS TECHNOLOGIES and also served as a Project Owner.

From 2010 to 2015, Philippe worked at Michelin Travel Partner in various capacities, including Senior Search Engineer, Technical Project Manager, and Lead Developer.

Earlier in their career, they worked as a Project Manager at CNRS - Centre national de la recherche scientifique and held multiple roles at ViaMichelin, including Team Manager, Technical Project Manager, and Lead Developer.

Lastly, Philippe worked at Airbus Defence and Space as a Technical Project Manager, where they developed a map catalog application for Mindef.

Philippe Brunet obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science from the Institute of Technology of Clermont-Ferrand, from 1990 to 1992. Philippe then pursued a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Computer Science from Polytech Tours, from 1992 to 1995. Additionally, they obtained certifications such as "Docker Mastery: The Complete Toolset From a Docker Captain" from Udemy Online in December 2017, and "Certification CSPO (Certificat Scrum Product Owner)" from Xebia Training FR in April 2016.
