Paula Burke

Paula Burke is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in backend development and team leadership. Currently a Senior Backend Engineer at Splitwise Inc. since January 2023, Paula previously served as Lead Platform Engineer at Stitch Fix, where key responsibilities included building features for a custom platform and managing AWS environments. Earlier roles include Senior Backend Engineer at GitLab Inc. with a focus on security offerings, and Engineer II at OpenTable, leading governance software initiatives. Paula has also contributed to various startups and non-profit organizations as a freelance developer and worked at Logical Reality Design on MVPs. Paula holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Purchase College, SUNY.
