Abby Wenke

Abby Wenke is a veterinarian currently employed at Sploot Veterinary Care since July 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a veterinarian at Adobe Animal Hospital in Los Altos and Los Gatos from July 2021 to July 2023. Abby's veterinary career began as a veterinary assistant at the California National Primate Research Center (2017 - March 2020) and includes roles as a lab assistant at the Lawrence Hall of Science (September 2014 - August 2017), an undergraduate research apprentice at UC Berkeley Office of Laboratory Animal Care (February 2015 - December 2016), and multiple internships at Oakland Zoo Veterinary Hospital, Oakland Zoo, and Wildlife Center of Silicon Valley. Abby holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine (2017 - 2021) and a Bachelor's Degree in Molecular Environmental Biology from the University of California, Berkeley (2013 - 2017). Abby completed high school at Archbishop Mitty High School (2009 - 2013).
