Tammy de Weerd

Tammy de Weerd is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and community service. Currently, Tammy serves as Co-Founder of Spoken Wines and is a Board Member at the Meridian Chamber of Commerce since October 2021. In addition, Tammy holds a long-term role as a Traveller of the world’s wine regions with The World is My Oyster and is a Partner at AgriBusiness Solutions, Inc. since 2002. Tammy is also involved with the Boys & Girls Club of Ada County as a member of the Board of Directors and previously held the position of Board Chair at Inspire Excellence Non-Profit until September 2023. From July 2020 to November 2021, Tammy was a Community Liaison at Microbe Formulas. Tammy's experience as the Mayor of the City of Meridian from 2000 to 2020 involved overseeing daily operations, economic development, and representing the city on various boards. Tammy's academic background includes education at the University of Idaho and Washington State University, complemented by roles in career placement and small business development.
