Tim Hollingsworth

Tim Hollingsworth OBE is a seasoned leader in the sports sector, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at Sport England since November 2018. Previously, Tim held the position of Chief Executive at the British Paralympic Association from July 2011 to November 2018 and served as Chief Operating Officer and Director of Policy & Communications at UK Sport from March 2005 to July 2011. Tim’s career also includes roles as Director at HBL MEDIA LTD and Head of Corporate Communications at Granada plc. Early experience includes serving as Head of Media Relations for the Confederation of British Industry. Tim is an alumnus of the University of Exeter, holding a BA Hons (2:1) and MA in Drama, English and Drama, and has received honorary degrees from the University of Bath and the University of Exeter for contributions to sport.
