Shanade Beharry

Shanade Beharry has held a variety of roles in the tech industry since 2015. Shanade began their career as a Summer Intern for The National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited in 2015. Shanade then worked as a Facility Maintenance Team, Facility Services Assistant, and Challenge Course Tech Support for UNCW Campus Recreation from 2015-2016. In 2017, they worked as a UX/UI Intern for CastleBranch. From 2016-2018, they were an Independent Contractor for TrendSource, Inc. and from 2018-present, they have been a Quality Assurance Engineer and IT Support Technician for SportGait, where they provide troubleshooting resources for complex technical issues and Tier I and Tier II support to resolve customer issues.

Shanade Beharry obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina Wilmington from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, they attended Holy Faith Convent Penal from 2006 to 2013. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications, including 5 Common Test Failures, Emotional Intelligence for Project Managers (Blinkist Summary), Software Testing Foundations: Bug Writing and Management, Understanding Manual Testing, Confluence Fundamentals Badge, Jira Fundamentals Badge, Operations Management Foundations, Hands-On Mobile Prototyping for UX Designers, and Marvel for UX Design, all obtained between 2018 and 2022.
