Barry M. Bloom

Barry M. Bloom is a seasoned sports journalist with extensive experience in various reputable organizations. Currently serving as a Sports Reporter at Sportico since May 2020, Barry has also contributed as a writer for SportBusiness and Forbes. Prior to this, Barry held the position of National Reporter for Major League Baseball and worked at Bloomberg News covering national hockey and baseball. Barry's career began at The San Diego Union-Tribune, where writing skills were honed over a 16-year period. Barry holds a Master’s degree in Broadcast Communications from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Communications from Fairleigh Dickinson University, with legal studies undertaken at California Western School of Law.
