Daniel Rivard

Daniel Rivard has a diverse work experience in software development spanning over several years. Daniel is currently working as a Senior Backend Developer at Sportlogiq. Prior to this, they worked as a Technical Lead at MavTek Inc., where they built a live video streaming service and converted the backend to Python and Typescript microservices using AWS Lambda. Daniel also researched and adopted new technologies to enhance existing offerings. Before MavTek Inc., Daniel worked as a Senior Software Developer at West Safety Services, where they designed and maintained software components for Connexon's EGW products in the E911 market. Daniel also refactored the web dashboard using PHP and jQuery. Daniel has also worked as a Software Developer at MySeat.com Media Inc., where they were responsible for developing and planning the Android application and implementing caching for performance improvement. Prior to that, they worked at Touchtunes as a Software Developer for the Telecommunications team, where they developed and maintained communication applications and handled credit card processing and applicative network security. Daniel'searlier experience includes working as a Software Developer at Aheeva, where they developed realtime telephony applications and maintained telephony systems. Daniel also had internships as a Software Developer at Safilo and Sanimax.

Daniel Rivard completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal from 1999 to 2001. Daniel then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering at UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal from 2001 to 2004.
