Luka Pataky has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Luka started their career at HERMES SoftLab, where they worked as an IS Implementation Support from August 2008 to October 2008. Luka then worked as a Young Journalist & PR at Slovenske zeleznice, d.o.o. from August 2010 to September 2010.
In 2011, Luka joined PwC and worked on a Capital Budgeting Project from November 2011 to January 2012. During the same year, they also worked as a Web Page Developer for various companies and organizations until 2011.
From 2011 to 2012, Luka worked at BMW as an Assistant to Project Manager. In 2012, they joined Studio Moderna as a Central Planning / Demand Planner from June 2012 to March 2013. Luka also worked as a Mentor/Tutor at the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana from January 2012 to February 2012.
Luka then joined Henkel CEE in March 2013 as a Brand Management Beauty Care until February 2014. After that, they started working at Sportradar as a Sales Operations Manager from April 2014 to July 2015. Luka continued their journey at Sportradar with roles including Innovation Manager from July 2015 to July 2017, Innovation Team Lead from July 2017 to April 2019, and Head of Innovation from May 2019 to December 2021.
Currently, Luka holds the position of Senior Vice President - Automated Content (Artificial Intelligence | Computer Vision) at Sportradar since January 2022. In this role, they lead a team of 75 professionals in the field of AI, CV, and DL, focusing on revolutionizing content creation in sports using advanced AI solutions. Luka also drove the M&A process and successfully integrated acquired businesses into Sportradar.
Luka Pataky has a Master's degree in Business Administration from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Ljubljana obtained from 2010 to 2012. Luka also has a Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics from the same faculty obtained from 2007 to 2010, and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Ljubljana obtained from 2006 to 2010. Luka graduated from Gimnazija Ledina secondary school in 2006.
