Jon Lugbill

Jon Lugbill is the Executive Director of Sports Backers, a position held since 1993. In addition, Jon serves on the Board of Directors for Richmond Region Tourism and previously for SwimRVA and Greater Richmond Fit4Kids. Jon was a Canoe Kayak Commentator for NBC Olympics from July 2000 to August 2004 and represented the United States as an Olympian in whitewater canoeing with the United States Olympic Committee in 1992. Jon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Science from the University of Virginia, obtained between 1981 and 1984.
